Music and Memory Organisation

This is a great video that works on a number of levels and tells a very powerful story about connecting with people through music. Professor Oliver Sacks narrates through part of the video and this is an excerpt from a longer documentary by the Music and Memory organisation. In part of this excerpt we see that the video relates to people with Alzheimer’s Disease living in nursing homes. By using iPods and finding the music which they are passionate about, the carers are able to connect with the person who has been disconnected from the people around them.
